  • Represented online travel companies in tax lawsuits filed by various state and local taxing jurisdictions in Texas, California, Arizona, Washington D.C., and Missouri, resulting in more than $50 million in tax savings to clients.


  • Represented the world’s largest commercial airline in multiple lawsuits concerning various trademark, trade secret, employment, and contract disputes.


  • Represented corporate and individual defendants in multiple lawsuits filed in competing jurisdictions, alleging fraud, deceptive trade practices, breach of contract, and securities law violations. See e.g., EcoVirux, LLC v. BioPledge, LLC, 357 So.3d 182 (Fla. 3d DCA 2022) (affirming trial court's order dismissing case); Composite Cooling Solutions, LP v. Larrabee Air Conditioning, Inc., No. 02–17–00006–CV, 2017 WL 2979918 (Tex. App.—Fort Worth July 13, 2017, no pet.) (mem. op.) (resolving competing Florida/Texas jurisdictional claims and holding jurisdiction proper in my client's home state; and, as a result, the competing Florida lawsuit filed against my client was subsequently dismissed).


  • Represented insured clients in multiple lawsuits against their respective insurance companies for breach of life, title, general liability, and professional negligence policies. See e.g., Landmark Am. Ins. Co., v. Lonergan Law Firm, P.L.L.C., 809 Fed. Appx. 239 (5th Cir. 2020) (rejecting insurance company's argument that the $1 million policy at issue did not provide coverage).


  • Represented plaintiffs in multiple lawsuits alleging fraud and violations of securities laws by various defendants and recovered millions of dollars in fraudulently obtained funds. See e.g., Smith v. Crestview NuV, LLC, 565 S.W.3d 793 (Tex. App.—Fort Worth 2018, pet. denied); Connor v. Hale, 2015 WL 12731747 (N.D. Tex. Nov. 30, 2015).


  • Represented commercial lending institutions in connection with state and federal regulatory guidance, collections, foreclosure proceedings, bankruptcy cases, bankruptcy adversary proceedings, and probate cases.


  • Represented property owners in appeals of ad valorem tax assessments concerning more than $300 million in real and personal property. See e.g., Hood Cnty. Appraisal Dist. v. Mandy Ann Mgmt. Ltd., No. 02-19-00294-CV, 2020 WL 6601595 (Tex. App.—Fort Worth Nov. 12, 2020, no pet.) (mem. op.) (affirming unanimous jury verdict and judgment in the property owner’s favor).


  • Represented client in professional negligence lawsuit against attorney and obtained $800,000 judgment in the client's favor.


  • Represented lenders in professional negligence lawsuit against title company and attorney, resulting in $1.5 million settlement in lenders' favor.


  • Represented employer in wrongful death lawsuit and obtained a take nothing judgment in employer’s favor.


  • Represented mortgage broker in lawsuit against former employee and competitor, resulting in $3 million settlement in mortgage broker’s favor.


  • Represented real estate broker in lawsuit against competitor, resulting in $2 million settlement in favor of real estate broker.
